For the recreational goalie that skates 1-2 times per week, Bauer has introduced the GSX line. The GSX Blocker will provide the protection needed and perform at a good level for less competitive levels of hockey. Some of the key features include an ivory nash palm and liner, and a dual density one-piece blocker.
External Material
The exterior of the blocker is the same through the whole blocker featuring synthetic leather. Synthetic leather was a standard in the goalie industry for many years. The synthetic leather will provide good durability and performance offered at a great price.
Internals
The blocker board on the GSX is a dual density one-piece material. This will protect the back of the hand well, and provide control and consistency in deflecting pucks when making a save.
Palm Material
The palm on the Bauer GSX goalie blocker is the ivory nash palm.
Side Hand Protection
The side hand protection is a dual density one-piece material, designed to provide protection and safety, but be light enough to be comfortable and mobile.
Cuff
The cuff on the Bauer GSX blocker has a velcro closure, enabling a well fitting blocker, but allowing mobility and freedom to move and adjust.
Hand Protection
The design on the GSX blocker finger protection is somewhat similar to what’s featured on the Bauer 3S model. The GSX finger protection version comes in slightly shorter along the pinky, middle, and ring fingers. As well the finger protection is entirely foam and synthetic leather.
Colors
The Bauer GSX SR blocker is available in all White, Black, Navy, and Red. The GSX Goalie Blocker is available in Regular hand (worn on your right hand) in all colourways, and Full Right (worn on your left hand) in All White.
