Bauer Vapor 3X Pro Junior Hockey Shin Guards

For 2022, Bauer is rolling out the Vapor 3X Pro protective series, the next upgrade to the Vapor family of gear. The shin guards are equipped with an X-Lite Shield cap and ergonomic design, Hyperlite HD foam, and a Thermomax+ liner. The new 3X Pro gear looks to offer superior protection at the competitive level.

Shin Protection
The Vapor 3X Pro shin guards stick to the anatomically molded X-Lite Shield cap, as seen in the 2X series. This cap design contours around the leg for a closer fit, giving you better protection, a comfier feel, and a deeper fit. This innovation overall will help keep you nimble on the ice.

Knee Cap & Protection
The Ergodymanic Lab knee returns in the Vapor 3X Pro shin guards, as it helps give a deeper fit for more protection and a comfier feel. On agility-based equipment, a closer fit is ideal since it can reduce more potential wind resistance.

Calf Protection
For solid protection in the back of the leg, the Vapor 3X Pro shin guards feature a molded Hyperlite HD calf guard with PE inserts. With the Hyperlite HD foam in the calf guard, the 3X Pro is able to offer competitive-level protection in that delicate area.

Liner
Bauer uses a molded comfort liner treated with Thermomax+ in the 3X Pro shin guard. Thermomax+ is designed to repel odour and allow for enhanced airflow, keeping you cool and fresh while you play. If you need more space in the knee area, the liner is also removable.

Strapping
Like the elbow pads, the 3X Pro also uses comfort lock anchor straps to fasten the shin guard in place. The calf area is also held together by a comfort anchor strap to keep the guard more stable.

Sizes
