Bauer Vapor 3X Pro Senior Roller Hockey Skates

Engineered for the elite roller hockey player, the Bauer Vapor 3X Pro is perfect for any player looking to bump up their game to the next level. It features tech from the fan-favourite Mission gear, as well as the ice hockey side, including a 3D-lasted Carbon CURV composite quarter package, an asymetrical toe cap, a Hi-Lo bearing and chassis setup, and Labeda Millenium wheels.

Boot Construction
The Vapor 3X Pro took a hint from the Mission Inhaler WM01 with the boot, using the same 3D-lasted Carbon CURV composite material. This material is lightweight with great thermoforming properties, which are major reasons why Bauer only uses it in their highest-end gear. With this boot construction too, the Vapor 3X Pro delivers amazing ankle and heel support.

The boot uses a composite outsole, which is known for its durability and stiffness, which increases support and is ideal for strong skaters to maximize their power. Bauer implemented their asymmetrical toe cap from their latest high-end skates to improve fit with a more anatomical feel.

Liner
Bauer lined the inside of the boot with a hydrophobic microfibre liner, which, as the name implies, is great at wicking away moisture and repelling odour and bacteria. Bauer’s liner will help keep you and your skates cleaner and fresher for longer.

Tongue
The tongue of the skate is made of Pro Stock 48oz. felt and includes an injected shield insert for protection. The thick 48oz. felt adds comfort to the inside while you play and skate, and it also adds some extra cushioning against impact and lace bite.

Chassis
The skates use a HI-LO Aluminum chassis, following Bauer/Mission’s high-to-low wheel size style. They are designed to hold two 80mm wheels in the back and two 76mm wheels in the front, a dynamic that will add power and greater maneuverability to your skating. The angle has been described as more aggressive than a standard chassis, and it increases forward lean to strengthen stride.

Wheels
The Vapor 3X Pro comes with Labeda Millenium wheels, which offer amazing grip and speed. They are a bit harder than traditional x-soft wheels but offer the same performance with increased durability. This is a soft wheel, which is ideal for indoor, smooth flooring; if you plan to play outdoors, it is recommended that you opt for outdoor wheels.

Sizing
The Bauer Vapor 3X Pro Roller Hockey Skates are available in Senior sizing 7-11.5 in full and half sizes. Unlike other Vapor skates, these come in a standard Fit 2 sizing (closest to the old Supreme fit).
