Bauer Vapor Shift Pro Intermediate Hockey Shin Guards

For 2022, Bauer is rolling out the Vapor Shift Pro protective series, a Source for Sports exclusive protective line tailored for the agile competitive player at a more affordable price point. The shin guards are equipped with an X-Lite shield cap, Deep Fit Pro Volume knee cap, and Bauer’s Thermocore Zero liner.

Shin Protection
The Vapor Shift Pro shin guards stick to the anatomically molded X-Lite Shield cap, as seen in the 2X series. This cap design contours around the leg for a closer fit, giving you better protection, a comfier feel, and a deeper fit. This innovation overall will help keep you nimble on the ice.

Knee Cap & Protection
The Deep Fit Pro Volume knee cap offers an anatomical fit around your knee, so you can be comfortable and protected. The angled design helps keep you aerodynamic while skating, and the deeper fit keeps that feeling as natural and seamless as possible.

Calf Protection
The calves are protected with a full-coverage Hyperlite HD molded calf guard. Hyperlite HD foam is both lightweight and soft and flexible exactly where it needs to be, keeping you protected from impact coming from the back. They are designed for a more comfortable and natural feel while using a tougher strap, so you don’t have to worry about any distractions or discomfort when skating.

Liner
The liner is Bauers’ upgraded Thermocore Zero, designed not only to wick away moisture and repel odour but also to allow for enhanced airflow, so you can keep cool while playing. The liner itself is completely removable if you want some extra space in the knee cap area.

Strapping
The Shift Pro uses Dynaflex lock anchor straps, same as the highest-end Hyperlites. They are a bit more flexible and softer than the usual Tunefit straps, but just as durable. They are designed to hold the pads steady along the upper portion of your leg while moving and forming with you and your movements.

Sizes
