The CCM RIBCOR Trigger 5 Pro INT Hockey Stick is built for the player looking for a low kick-point, quick release stick. The Trigger 5 Pro features Nanolite Carbon Layering and Sigmatex Tow Spread Technologies for Stiffness and Durability throughout the shaft and blade. The Ergonomic Shaft Geometry has been methodically constructed to optimize control and comfort. Reinforced Agility Blade for a quick release and enhanced shot accuracy. This is the lightest stick to date CCM has constructed, the Trigger 5 Pro is a clear upgrade over the previous RIBCOR model sticks.
Nanolite Carbon Layering
The CCM Trigger 5 Pro Stick has been constructed with CCM’s new Nanolite Carbon Layering technology. Nanolite is a high performance carbon layering system providing the stick stiffness and durability, which is built throughout the shaft and blade of the stick. Sigmatex Spread Tow is also featured in the sticks construction which adds to the durability of the stick.
Stick Flex Profile
CCM has optimized the low kick-point on the RIBCOR Trigger 5 Pro stick. The Trigger 5 Pro has a soft taper area on the shaft with optimal vertical flex throughout the stick. CCM’s exclusive RIBCOR asymmetrical taper design adds to the stick’s ability for heavy load and quick release. Pairing this quick release technology, and CCM’s lightest stick ever made, this stick is constructed with the fast release player in mind.
Shaft Construction
The RIBCOR Trigger 5 Pro Hockey Stick has a very unique shaft shape geometry, that CCM refers to as “Ergonomic Shaft Geometry”. They have broken the shaft shape down to 3 segments throughout the shaft.
- Top-Shaft
The top of the shaft is a rounded concave shape for a natural feel with your top hand giving you comfort and control. - Mid-Shaft
The mid shaft is a rounded convex back side, combined with a square-cornered concave front side. This gives your lower hand better dexterity and control when loading the shaft. - Low-Shaft
The lower portion of the shaft is an asymmetric taper design. In simpler terms, it has a concave front-side of the shaft which aids the quick-release. The rounded concave back side adds torsional stiffness to the shaft for better shot accuracy and puck control.
Blade Construction
The Trigger 5 Pro Stick features a Reinforced Agility Blade with Nanolite Carbon Layering. These technologies paired together give you a quick releasing blade, and increased shot accuracy with the added blade stiffness provided from the Nanolite Technology. CCM has consciously constructed the intermediate model of this stick, so that the appropriate amount of stiffness has been applied to the blade for the age and strength of the player.
Graphics
The CCM RIBCOR Trigger 5 Pro Stick is an all black stick, with neon green graphics and highlights, which stays true to the previous RIBCOR stick lineage.
