New for 2022, The TRUE Catalyst 9X Pro Senior Hockey Gloves are designed for the elite-level player. With a tapered fit designed to take the shape of the player’s hand, combined with the AX SUEDE palms and gussets, shot blocker, and reduced cuff height, the Catalyst 9X Pro gloves offer complete coverage and wrist mobility at the highest level.
External Material
Externally, the Catalyst 9X Pro uses a multi-material shell featuring premium nylons with a PU finish. This offers protection and extends the longevity of the glove in high-wear areas. The exterior also offers TPR branding and embellishments to give the glove that extra pop.
Finger Design & Backhand Protection
The fingers are a three-piece design offering you flexibility and freedom to control your stick. Constructed with Pro grade 20mm EPP foam and PE inserts, the protection TRUE has provided is truly elite. What separates the Catalyst 9X Pro from the 9X is the addition of a backhand shot blocker.
Thumb Design
TRUE introduces their newly designed Trueflex3 three-piece hinge thumb. This ergonomic thumb provides increased flexibility and unmatched hyperextension prevention.
Cuff Design
True has given the Catalyst 9X a tapered fit design with an ergonomic flexible cuff. This allows the glove to fit seamlessly on the player’s hand and offers superior wrist mobility. The cuff also features a ½” height reduction compared to the 2021 Catalyst 9x Glove.
Palm Material & Gussets
The TRUE Catalyst 9X utilizes the AX SUEDE palm and gussets. This is an extremely comfortable Nash material that gives you great sick connection to the hand. There is also an additional AX SUEDE overlay giving the palm an extra layer of durability.
Liner
The liner is made from Microbian which is an antimicrobial material to limit moisture and prevent bacteria from building up.
