TRUE Catalyst 9X Pro Stock Senior Hockey Stick – Mitch Marner – TC2.5 – R-80

This custom TRUE Catalyst 9X stick is a pro return from Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL) player Mitch Marner. The construction follows that of a standard Catalyst 9X, with a couple of custom features.

The stick uses a square (A) geometry and a glossy grip. A geometry is the standard square geometry you would find on a 9X stock stick, with traditionally rounded corners and slightly concave walls. The blade is a TC2.5, which is very similar to the TC2 (P92 Bauer / P29 CCM) with a lower lie (5.0-5.5 rather than 6.0).

This is a mid kick hockey stick, meaning it excels at puck control and powerful shots. Marner’s variation is 60 inches at 80 flex with a blue colouration. The stick is labelled “MARNER” on the name bar.

Sticks in the TRUE pro stock collection are custom-modelled after specific NHL player specs and use a different graphic pattern than the 9X. Pro stock sticks do not have a warranty, but they are made tougher and sturdier than stock sticks to accommodate pro-level playstyles.
